The Old DrumBank Studios
One of Bristol’s hidden gems, a building with loads going on! Tucked just off the bustling Gloucester Road, there’s an on-site Cafe & Shop serving Radical Roasters Coffee as well as specialist loose-leaf herbal teas, pastries, cakes and savoury options. We’re also home to Hot Wax Records and stock artwork, creations and gift options made by local artists.
Upstairs we offer multi-disciplinary, flexible studio & co-working space, home to a community of creatives and small businesses. Prior to its current incarnation, the building was known as Drumbank Music, a place where many of Bristol’s residents learnt to play instruments and local bands rehearsed and refined their sound. Sadly, the business closed down and the building lay empty for some time, descending into a state of disrepair. When we looked around, we knew it was the perfect spot for our flagship project, and we’ve refurbished it in a way that respects its former usage and maintains its character. In late 2021, The Old Drumbank Studios was born!
How it works
Our aim is to provide the platform for creatives to grow businesses or or pursue artistic practises within the individual and shared spaces in our co-working buildings. Get In Touch to find our what we have available, and we’ll be happy to discuss the options available and arrange a viewing.
We work with flexible License To Occupy agreements, so you can start off on a short-term or rolling monthly basis. Prices begin at £190.00 per month with all bills and access to communal facilities included.
Expect regular friendly and informal contact with our on-site team. In the event your business grows to the point of needing extra space, you can register your interest for when one of the bigger spaces becomes available! We also have dedicated spaces for short-term use, and we’re open to hosting events and workshops.
